  • Do you allow pets?

    For the comfort of our guests and visitors, we do not allow large animals in the inn. We make exceptions bewteen November and April for small lap dogs under 20 pounds. A small deposit to help cover the costs of accidents may be charged.


    Service and guide dogs are always welcome!

  • Is smoking permitted?

    Smoking is strictly prohibited in the inn and winery. This prohibition includes the winery grounds, front patio and sidewalks.

  • Is the building accessible?

    Due to the age of the building, the inn is not ADA accessible. The winery and grounds are accessible by guests confined to chairs. Our bathrooms do not have ADA accessible door ways but are on flat planes with no obstructions.

  • Is there a minimum stay requirement?

    There is a two-night minimum stay on Fridays and Saturdays. Some exceptions apply.

  • Where should I park?

    The Red Fern Inn  and Rocky Point Winery have ample parking available in our parking lot locoated on the east side of the building. Need assistance with parking? Text us at 419-967-5344.

  • When is check-in/out?

    Guests may begin checking in at 3 PM and must check out by 11 AM. Some exceptions may be made. Please ask!

  • Will I be able to cook?

    Yes!  Every guest room at the The Red Fern Inn has its own complete kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops, coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dishes and utensils.  The two-bedroom suites also include dishwashers.  There are no prohibitions on cooking. Need a special utensil? Just ask!

  • Does the Inn serve food?

    Rocky Point Winery has an in-season food menu that includes sandwiches and assorted dips including vegetarian options. Restaurants are located within walking distance of the inn.

  • Do you offer access to laundry machines?

    A complimentary washer and dryer is available for all guests staying longer than two nights. 

  • Will I be charged a cleaning fee?

    There is no cleaning fee. However, linens are not changed every night and there is not a towel service every night.  For guests staying seven nights, linen and towel service will be provided after three nights.  

  • What is your cancellation policy?

    We understand that sometimes reservations must be changed or cancelled. The Red Fern Inn requires a minimum of 2 weeks notice for any cancellation. Cancellations made prior to 14 days will recieve a full refund. Cancellations made 13 days or fewer before  your stay will be rescheduled and your deposit will be credited without penalty. 

  • Can I open the windows?

    Windows must remain closed at all times without exception.
